Hyundai i20 has been the undisputed leader of the premium sedan segment in India. To further broaden its spectrum, the South Korean automaker is ready to introduce the 2017 model year of the Elite i20. The 2017 Hyundai Elite i20 facelift will receive a review of the list of variant features and some cosmetic upgrades. The company also plans to introduce a new two-color variant on the top-of-the-line Asta trim.
2017 Hyundai ix20 Design
The i20 standard is a supermini looking smart, but lacks many details that could help it stand out in a parking lot. Any sports version should watch the game to rival rivals including the Ford Fiesta ST and Vauxhall Corsa VXR. Our exclusive rendering demonstrates just how sporting Hyundai intends to go with its new hot hatch.

Flared propellers and a honeycomb grille are an integral part of any modern performance car. We therefore expect the Korean manufacturer to do the same, especially considering the i20 N’s biggest brother spyshots, the i30 N. Larger air intakes and, of course, the alloy wheels should complete The look, but there could be elements of customization, including possibly decals.
2017 Hyundai ix20 Inside
It seems likely that the 2017 Hyundai i20 N will be launched parallel to a gentle facelift of the current car, but we expect it to largely mirror the standard version. This means a surprisingly spacious and decent quality interior, with plenty of equipment to help it stand out from the rivals. Badging ‘N’ is almost a certainty, and there will be a few sporty touches as well as potentially including sports bucket seats.
It is also reasonably well equipped with only three levels of balance to choose from. The entry-level SE trim gifts the ix20 with 16in alloy wheels, automatic lights, electrically adjustable and heated rearview mirrors, rear parking sensors and Hill Start assist as standard outdoors, while inside there is the Bluetooth and USB connectivity, air conditioning and electric windows. Upgrade to SE Nav and you get a 7.0-inch touch-screen entertainment system with satellite navigation and rearview camera, while the Premium Nav range has a frame that adorns The car with a panoramic sunroof.
2017 Hyundai ix20 Engine
The new 2017 Hyundai ix20 sold at Mooney’s offers a choice of 1.4-liter or 1.6-liter petrol engines and an extra-efficient 1.4-liter diesel engine. All engines across the range are cheap to run with great fuel economy and low annual road tax ratings. The 1.4-liter petrol ix20 is the entry-level engine and produces 89bhp with a five-speed slick gearbox. The largest 1.6-liter petrol ix20 is available with manual and automatic transmissions and packs a powerful 123bhp. The 1.4 CRDI diesel ix20 produces 89bhp with a six-speed manual transmission.
The i20 is not quite the market it used to be, with prices ranging between £ 11,000 – £ 17,500. Given its main rivals costs around this high-end brand, we expect that Hyundai will price the i20 N of about £ 16,500-17,000 –
