The Kia Cee’d apostrophe d passes by some major changes inside the cabin for its third generation. The Cee’d used for the best-selling Kia model in Europe, but this is no longer the case since Sportage is now the best performer for the brand on the old continent. Even though in all its flavors (hatchback, wagon, coupe), the cee’d remains a very important model for Kia and one of the driving forces in Europe where the company’s annual deliveries exceeded in 2016 the brand of 400,000 units for the first time.

The espionage plans of Kia cee’d 2018 were taken in Germany, and it seems to be the production body on display, although it is heavily camouflaged. What we can see is a sporty front fascia with a low grid and smooth headlights. Has undergone some remodeling, too. Around the back, the taillights are now a little wider than before. In front are thin headlights with quad-LED daytime running lights (even if only one side works), with a thinner version of the company’s “tiger rod” grid similar to that seen on the Stinger.

Spy snappers also took pictures of the inside and, to the surprise of many, the physical button is alive and kicking. Despite the fact that the industry advocates the haptic and feel that the 2018 Kia Cee’d features many buttons on its dashboard. Their layout is what I would call “arranged” and “just within reach of the driver’s hand”. Again, the Porsche interior design team would be proud.

Given the small size of the multimedia system and how spartan the interior is, it is likely that this prototype is based on the entry-level model in the 2018 Kia Cee’d Sportwagon range. There is no information on whether the three-door body style will be soldier on, however. A variant of break (a.k.a. Sportswagon) is scheduled to go on sale in 2018.
2018 Kia Cee’d Sportwagon Engine
As far as oily bits are concerned, just look at the sheet of 2017 Kia Cee’d s shows and you will have a very accurate idea of what to expect from the badged Kia version. The biggest innovation will be the new turbocharged 1.4-liter petrol engine with 138 horsepower (103 kilowatts) and 179 pound-feet (242 Newton-meters) of torque. Already available in the cee’d GT line, the turbocharged three-cylinder 1.0-liter unit is expected to solidify with 120 hp, while the entry-level grinder will be the naturally aspirated 1.4-liter rated at 100 hp.
On the diesel side, Kia will sell the cee’d 2018 with a 1.6 liter that will likely be available in three states of the air: 95, 110 and 133 hp. Depending on the choice of engine, the compact model built in Žilina, Slovakia will be offered with a six-speed manual transmission and an optional seven-clutch double clutch transmission.
The official launch date for Kia cee’d in 2018 has not yet been announced, but we expect the model to be launched in Europe by the end of next year.
