2018 SsangYong Korando – The SsangYong Rexton 2018 first appeared at the beginning of the year with a brand new look as part of the company’s efforts to renew the brand’s identity. It is also the flagship model of SsangYong seven-seater, which is located above the Tivoli and the next Korando, which will also be a seven-seater model.
Outside and Inside of 2018 SsangYong Korando
The Korando is a crossover with a modern look thanks to its slim, wide grille and mesh air intake grille. Its front fascia also comes with an elegant and attractive combination of LED daytime running lights, projection projectors and black bumper finish. For its rear, expect the same head characteristics turned by subtle character lines and taillights with LED emphasis. For passenger comfort, Korando 2nd row seats can be tilted at 17.5 degrees. This SsangYong model provides a spacious interior for five people, including the driver.
The cabin, on the other hand, seems to be rather upscale, especially with padded Nappa leather upholstery seen on the top of the seats, the door cards and the lower dashboard. It comes with an 8.0-inch or 9.2-inch touchscreen, both supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with mirroring feature as well as the backup camera.
SsangYong Korando 2018 Performance
The base model has a 2.0 L gasoline engine with 149 hp while the others have a 2.0 L diesel engine with a power ranging from 149 hp for the SXD to 175 hp on EXD and ELX. The gas model has 197 Nm of torque, while diesel variants have 360 Nm of traction. Other features include a 7 “screen multimedia system, automatic / manual climate control and remote steering wheel controls.
