The new 2019 Mazda CX-4 crossover model has been spotted in Australia, indicating an imminent launch. However, it remains to be seen whether the car is launched in other countries or not. Mazda, the Japanese car giant, is doing its best to increase its market share and is focusing on the compact crossover and SUV segment.
Engine of New Mazda CX-4
As one might guess, the 2019 Mazda CX-4 is expected to continue with the same engines as before that also power the current Mazda CX-5. One is a 2.0-liter SkyActiv line-4 engine that is capable of 155 horsepower and 150 lb-ft of torque. The second is a more powerful version and is a 2.5-liter SkyActiv online unit. This one has the power of 184 horsepower and 185 lb-ft of torque. These engines are paired with a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic transmission. The front-wheel drive system is standard while the AWD system is optional.
Mazda CX-4 Exterior 2019
Speaking of exterior appearance, the 2019 Mazda CX-4 should carry the same design as its predecessor. This is very similar to a smaller version of the CX-5. It is well proportioned, catchy and very beautiful. The front will continue with the same grille in the shape of a shield, aggressive headlights and a well carved hood. At the rear, there are larger taillights, sports bumpers and exhaust pipes that are not integrated into the bumper as before.
2019 Mazda CX-4 Interior
Inside, the Mazda CX-4 2019 is quality, comfortable and well equipped. The dashboard is built roughly the same as the CX-5 model. It looks luxurious with beautiful aluminum trim, leather inserts and interesting contrast stitching. In addition, thanks to the large rear windshield, its visibility will be greatly improved. In terms of equipment, the 2019 CX-4 should have more standard features and we’ll know more after the official announcement of the company.
